Today's Moravian Daily Text

Moravian Daily Texts

Fifth Sunday in Lent

Watchword for the Week — I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope. Psalm 130:5

Sunday, April 6 — Ezekiel 37:1-14; Psalm 130
Romans 8:6-11; John 11:1-45

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Proverbs 21:3

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress. James 1:27

Lord God, on this Sabbath, we worship you in spirit and truth. Grant us ears to hear your call, eyes to see the need in this world, and strength to minister to those needs. As your Son gave his all, may we give our all in service. Amen.
