Thursday, April 24 — Psalm 53
Leviticus 16:26-18:5; Mark 6:7-13
Whether it is good or bad, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God. Jeremiah 42:6
Jesus said to Peter, "When you were younger, you used to fasten your own belt and to go wherever you wished. But when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will fasten a belt around you and take you where you do not wish to go." John 21:18
We thank you, God, for your words of comfort and peace. Help us to obey your voice and your will for our lives. May all we do and say bring glory to your name. Amen.
