Exodus 36; Matthew 27:11-31

Do not say, "I will do to others as they have done to me; I will pay them back for what they have done." Proverbs 24:29

Jesus says, "Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy." Matthew 5:7

Lord God, in our daily lives we try to emulate Christ but fall short. We often seek revenge when we know it is wrong. Help us, this day, to treat people with the same love you have shown to us in Christ Jesus. Amen.
