Dear Charles,

This is just a gentle reminder about our upcoming "Fundraising from the Heart" call-in seminars!

Join the Henri Nouwen Society and The Upper Room for a series of three call-in seminars featuring Henri Nouwen's A Spirituality of Fundraising, hosted by John Mogabgab, founding editor of Weavings Journal

"Fundraising is, first and foremost, a form of ministry," renowned author and teacher Henri Nouwen writes. "It is a way of announcing our vision and inviting other people into our mission."

But how many view fundraising this way? For most, it seems a necessary evil often disconnected from mission. In April of 2013, Henri Nouwen Society members partnered with The Upper Room to offer a live call-in seminar on the topic of "Fundraising From the Heart".
Three Call-in Seminars: Jan 23, Mar 20 & May 20

In 2014, the Henri Nouwen Society and The Upper Room partner again to bring you three additional seminars expanding on the topic of "Fundraising from the Heart". Join us and Parker Palmer, Kerry Robinson, and Henry Freeman as we explore together:

The Courage to Fundraise - Thursday, January 23 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Central Time
with Parker Palmer and John Mogabgab;

*The Spirit and Practice of Excellence - Thursday, March 20 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Central Time with Kerry Robinson and Nathan Ball;

*Lessons and Learning from a Lifetime of Fundraising - Tuesday, May 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Central Time with Henry Freeman and Sue Mosteller.

During these call-in events you'll be offered an entirely different vision for fundraising and encouraged to live into that vision. Hosted by The Upper Room's John Mogabgab, each seminar will expand on insights into the person-centered approach to the donor-fundraiser partnership reflected in Henri Nouwen's seminal work, A Spirituality of Fundraising.

Fees: $39 per seminar or $99 for the series.
Registrants will be entitled to a discount of 25% off the purchase price of A Spirituality of Fundraising and will receive access to the recorded version of the April 2013 call-in seminar.

Concerned about registering and then being called away just as the seminar is about to begin?  As a registrant, you will receive a link to the recorded version of the seminar, a few days following the event.
