Christ Was Not Inhibited Elton Trueblood It is clear that Christ was not inhibited, as we tend to be, by being overimpressed with the supposed limitation imposed by natural law. Many of us find it impossible, with intellectual integrity, to believe in physical miracles, but, when the situation is analyzed, it appears that our only reason for disbelief is the simple conviction that natural law is immutable. Though we do not mean to be irreverent in our position, the truth is that we are thereby, in our philosophy, putting something which God has made above God.
