And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The One Perfect Gift
Christmas is known as the season of giving. Jesus asks us to be generous givers for the support of his mission and the care of people in need in every season of the year. Although it is more blessed to give than to receive, there also must be gracious receivers in order for others to be blessed in their giving. Most of us would rather be on the giving than receiving end of gifts of kindness and charity. But there are times in our lives, especially as we age, when we must learn to be gracious receivers.
In this season of giving, many of us are looking for the perfect gifts to give our family or friends or coworkers. But there is only one perfect gift. It is the priceless gift that God gave to all of humanity on that first Christmas, wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Allow yourself to receive God's gift of the Christ Child with great joy, and share his love and blessings with others every chance you get.
Please consider supporting our work with a one-time gift,
legacy gift, or by becoming a monthly donor.
Thank you.
Thank you for journeying with us throughout Advent.
We trust these reflections have been an encouragement
