Monday, March 24 — Psalm 38:9-16
Exodus 29:1-30; Matthew 26:1-13

My heart recoils within me; my compassion grows warm and tender. I will not execute my fierce anger; for I am God and no mortal, the Holy One in your midst. Hosea 11:8,9

Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more. Romans 5:20

Lord, to you we return, burdened with the weight of our transgressions—and you do not turn away. Instead, you forgive us, purify us, and prepare again a place for us. Thanks be to you, O God. Amen.
