A Word of Thanks from the Henri Nouwen Society Board!

Dear Friends, As mentioned in a recent email from two of my colleagues on the board of the Henri Nouwen Society, we have undertaken a special effort to sign up 100 new donors for our monthly giving program during the last two weeks of July. As a demonstration of how important we feel monthly donors are, we have as a board decided to offer a $25 match for each new person who signs up. We are excited that a group of former board members, after learning about our plans, have also committed their support to this initiative. With just a few days remaining in this special board-driven campaign, I want to thank those of you who have already responded. I also encourage others to do so between now and July 31. If you are already a monthly donor - thank you! Your prayers for this new monthly giving campaign will be greatly appreciated. We invite you to forward this appeal to friends who might be interested in supporting our work. The Henri Nouwen Society is small organization with a very active seven-person board and deeply dedicated staff. We are, however, very much aware of one important fact: it is the support and encouragement we receive from people like you that makes this work possible.
