Dear Friends, It is always a pleasure to have good news to share! Earlier this week we sent out a special appeal on behalf of the board to promote support for the Henri Nouwen Society's monthly giving program. Despite the difficulties many of us have faced over the past 12 months, we were deeply moved by your generosity and are delighted to welcome all the new monthly donors who have responded to this special appeal! As a small organization with a seven-person board and very lean staff, we are very much aware of the critical role you and others play in making our work possible. Your support is critical and deeply appreciated, especially this year as we are developing several special events and programs to mark the 25th anniversary of Henri's passing.
