Dear Friends,
One of the joys of my work as Executive Director of the Henri Nouwen Society is hearing again and again that Henri's words are changing people's lives. Many of you have told us that you find comfort in the Daily Meditations, or gain a deeper awareness of God's presence through one of Henri's books. I have been particularly moved to learn how meaningful you have found our recently launched series of podcasts featuring Christian luminaries and leaders who have been inspired by Henri.
During these very uncertain and challenging times, Henri's words are a source of comfort and hope for many people. While financial support is very much needed to cover the costs of our work, of equal importance is the simple act of "introducing Henri" to someone you know. Ways to do this include posting a Daily Meditation on social media, spreading word about our podcast series among people you know, or recommending one of Henri's books to a friend.
