Dear Friends,
As Executive Director of the Henri Nouwen Society, one of the most rewarding parts of my job is hearing from some of the nearly 50,000 subscribers who receive our Daily Meditation each morning. One woman who recently lost her daughter to a lengthy illness told me she found great solace through Henri's daily words saying, "It's like they're written especially for me." Another shared how a meditation read many months ago continues to be a source of encouragement through a challenging family situation.
With an average of 12-15 new subscribers signing up each day, I am profoundly grateful for those of you who in recent months have "introduced someone to Henri" by passing along a Daily Mediation to a family member, friend or co-worker. We are also deeply appreciative for the many people whose financial support makes it possible to offer this program at no cost to readers.
