HNS Fall Appeal Reminder

HNS Fall Appeal Reminder
-We need your support-
Dear Friends,

It has been a difficult and heartbreaking month for those who have had to endure the brunt of hurricanes and earthquakes.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have suffered as well as with those who continue to aid and assist the victims of these natural disasters.

The reality of caring for others who are in great need always strikes a chord at the heart of humanity.

Caregivers-both professional and those forced into the role by circumstances-need practical and spiritual resources.

For those of you who are familiar with our valuable initiatives, in particular our new Courage for Caregivers outreach-may I ask that you consider offering your support?

We are hearing from places far and wide about the need to have our retreats and new support materials.  But caregivers often find that taking time for their own self-care is near impossible.  That is why the Henri Nouwen Society is committed to ensure that our Courage for Caregivers retreats are affordable and accessible for those who are able to attend.

Care and compassion were central to Henri's life.  He was a natural spiritual companion to everyone he met. Countless people found him a trustworthy guide through the struggles and difficulties of life. It is this encouragement and support that is so needed by those who spend endless hours offering care to another.

To carry on this important work, we need your help.

With your support we can touch the lives of those in most need with Henri's words of encouragement, hope and gratitude.

Thank you for your faithfulness to Henri's legacy.

Faithfully,

Karen Pascal,
