Today's Moravian Daily Text

Moravian Daily Texts

Fifth Sunday of Easter

Watchword for the Week — Jesus says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

Sunday, May 18
— Acts 7:55-60; Psalm 31:1-5,15-16
1 Peter 2:2-10; John 14:1-14

O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you. Psalm 38:9

Are any among you suffering? They should pray. Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise. James 5:13

Father, what a friend we have in Jesus! May we bring to you our worries in times of trial and rejoice in your name during times of serenity. Ourselves we bring to you, Lord, in prayer. Amen.
