Today's Moravian Daily Text

Moravian Daily Texts

Fourth Sunday in Lent

Watchword for the Week — Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long. Psalm 23:6

Sunday, March 30 — 1 Samuel 16:1-13; Psalm 23
Ephesians 5:8-14; John 9:1-41

The Lord your God is indeed God in heaven above and on earth below. Joshua 2:11

Jesus Christ, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness, and being found in human form. Philippians 2:6-7

Dearest Lord Jesus, we offer, in stunned humility, our gratitude and praise for your complete act of sacrifice. You gave yourself even for sinners like us. Truly, you are the Son of God. Amen.
