Don't Give Up John Dear Jesus does not romanticize his way of life. He is homeless, so his followers, too, can expect to wander the earth as pilgrims on a mission to proclaim God's nonviolent reign.... Jesus insists that his mission has a life-and-death urgency. The end of the old world is at hand--and so is God's reign. Get with it, stay with it, and don't give up.
