May 1-3 - Minneapolis, Minnesota - Funding The Missional Church Conference - Resourcing Communities of Faith in the 21st Century
The term missional church has gained enormous popularity of late, and with good reason. Coming out of the 20th century, many church leaders realized that their congregations and denominations had become too inwardly focused. This has resulted in a major recalibration in Protestantism across the Western world, as churches have focused on being missional.
But this is a change that affects every aspect of congregational life - it has thoroughgoing implications for leadership, architecture, outreach, and worship.
But how does being missional affect giving?
It is that question that Funding the Missional Church is attempting to answer.

May 3-5 - Minneapolis, Minnesota - The Church Planters Academy
An event to equip and encourage those desiring to start new churches in fresh and entrepreneurial ways.
For those who are starting new churches.
For those who are exploring starting a new churches.
For those who've already started churches and want to gather with others who are doing the same.

May 7-10 - Washington, DC - Children, Youth and a New Kind of Christianity
This isn't your average children's and youth ministry conference!
Something is happening in the church. A new kind of Christianity is taking root and growing across the globe. New forms of ministry, worship, and community are emerging. Questions are being asked. And change is happening.
But amidst these changes and shifts, children and youth are being left behind. Innovative approaches to ministry with adults are emerging around the world, but little critical reflection and attention has been given to how to nurture young people within a new kind of Christianity.

And, the Wild Goose Festival June 21-24 - Shakori Hills, North Carolina. More on this in future emails.
